I cannot reproduce it anymore, so I think you nailed it !

Ok, after retesting (in Qemu) I can see a cursor in the CLI at the 
beginning, but after doing 'show' the cursor is gone. ('help' does not 
have this effect)

PS I forgot to send it to the correct mailinglist so I will do that from 
now on.
