Looks like all of mailman croaked for some unpleasant reason.
Disturbing; hasn't happened before, but I'm a bit leery of the "new"
mailman which has daemon-type processes instead of being spawned by cron
et al.

I've restarted it and it looks like it's slowly catching up.
