[klibc] initramfs as an initrd replacement

How do i get to see initramfs stuff? I dont see anything about
initramfs whenever i boot. My initrd images also dont work anymore in
2.6.0. im going back to 2.4.22 for my diskless work. I was able to
compile klibc-0.81 successfully but dont know where to go next.
