Also, I think we need some support from upstream packages that are
usually included in initramfs.  I have gotten support in for sysfsutils,
dmraid (ok, haven't lately checked if it still works, as I do not really
use it any longer).  But I have had no reply from the device-mapper guys
up to date about the patches I sent (think I sent for 2-3 versions).

Things that did support it though, like udev and multipath-tools seems
broken the last time I checked.
