They should be kept up.  I have been neglectful on this.

Thank you for doing this.. this looks like a great patchset.  I will try
to integrate it and push a new release out... although since it's the
kernel merge window right now I can't promise this week.

However, this was the biggest hangup for a release, and other people
have been sending patches for the last few weeks, so this is fantastic.
