I also have decided to change the version number scheme slightly.  From 
now on, development/testing release snapshots will have 3-part numbers, 
e.g. 1.0.1, and meant-to-be-stable :) releases will have 2-part numbers 
and are kept in the Testing/ subdirectory.

Thus, the sequence will be something like:

1.0, 1.0.1, 1.0.2, 1.0.3, 1.0.4, 1.1, 1.1.1, 1.1.2, 1.1.3, 1.2

... where 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2 would be the "stable" releases.
